LIABILITY FOR CONTENT
The content of our website was created with the greatest of care. However, we cannot guarantee that the content is correct, complete or up to date. As a service provider, pursuant to section 7, paragraph 1, of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), we are responsible under general law for content belonging to us on this website. However, pursuant to sections 8 to 10 of the TMG, as a service provider we are not obliged
to monitor or under certain circumstances investigate transmitted or stored third-party information that indicates an illegal activity. This does not affect our obligations to remove or prevent the use of information under general law. However, we can only be held liable in this regard after becoming aware of a specific infringement of the law. If we do become aware of such an infringement, we shall immediately remove the content in question.
Some data processing activities can only be carried out with your express consent. You can revoke consent that you have already granted at any time. Informal notification by email is sufficient for revocation. The lawfulness of data processing carried out until such time that you revoke your consent remains unaffected by said revocation.
REVOCATION OF YOUR CONSENT TO DATA PROCESSING
Third parties are hereby expressly prohibited from using the contact data published as part of our duty to provide legal information in order to send us promotional material and information that we have not expressly requested. If sent unsolicited promotional material, including in spam emails, Cetonis GmbH reserves the right to take legal action.
RIGHT TO LODGE COMPLAINTS WITH THE COMPETENT SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY
In the event of a breach of data protection law, you as the data subject have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority with regard to data protection issues is the State Data Protection Officer in the federal state that our company’s headquarters are located in. The following link provides a list of the data protection officers and their contact details: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_linksnode.html.
RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY
You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or to perform a contract handed over to yourself or a third party in a machine-readable format. If you request that your data be directly transferred to another controller, this shall only be done to the extent technically feasible.
RIGHT OF ACCESS AND RIGHT OF RECTIFICATION, BLOCKAGE AND ERASURE
In the context of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right – at any time – to free information about the personal data stored about you, its origin, the recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to rectify, block or erase the same data if necessary. Please do not hesitate to contact us using the details provided in the imprint regarding this matter and if you have any other questions relating to the topic of personal data.
SSL OR TLS ENCRYPTION
Our website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator. This means that the data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. An encrypted connection is recognisable by the ‘https://’, your browser’s address bar and the padlock icon in the browser bar.
SERVER LOG FILES
The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in server log files. This information includes:
- The browser type and browser version
- The operating system used
- The referrer URL

This data is not combined with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b of the GDPR, which permits data processing for the performance of a contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures.
Data transmitted using the contact form, including your contact details, is stored for the purposes of processing your enquiry or for providing answers to follow-up questions. This data is not disclosed without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form is processed exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR). You can revoke consent that you have already granted at any time. Informal notification by email is sufficient for revocation. The lawfulness of data processing carried out until such time that you revoke your consent remains unaffected by said revocation.
We store data transmitted using the contact form on our systems until you request that we erase the same, revoke your consent to storage or there is no longer any need to store the data. Mandatory statutory provisions – particularly retention periods – remain unaffected.

Google Analytics’ demographic features
Our website uses the ‘demographic features’ function provided by Google Analytics. It can be used to compile reports. including statements on the age, gender and interests of visitors to the website.
